Sixty-Eight Snatches

How many snatches did you complete in CGO 12.2? Any new personal records?

----

WOD

for 10 minutes:
front lever practice

back squat 7x5

5 rounds for time:
100m run
30 squats

Post loads and time to comments!

----

We will partake on a more structured lifting program in our classes, with a focus on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday will become a CrossFit benchmark (instead of Friday), Thursdays a hard skill day (or for now, the CrossFit Games Open WOD), and Saturday remains as a spontaneous training day. As always this remains constantly varied, functional movements done at a relatively high intensity.

Also, are you happy with class times? What time slots would you want to see added/subtracted from our current schedule?

I scored 48! I wanted to at least get 31... and even surprised myself!

I would really like to see an 8am class :)

Less a request about time and more about format...

If we're going to take a more structured weightlifting approach that's awesome.

What about dedicating a class (7:30pm M/W/F??) to chipper/gasser metcons.

As people focus on races and so on this summer, help working those energy and lactic systems could be very timely!

Also, "some" of us may have spent the winter getting both weak and SLOW, riding lifts and trudging through snow and we could use the volume :-)

I would vote for the addition of a 330 on Tue/Thurs.

Sunday class, PLEASE!! I would love a 10am Sunday class.

Maybe 6:30am and 7:30am classes instead of 6am & 7am??

Scored 58! Need to work on dropping my bar and recovering rapidly (wasted time resetting the bar) and getting under the bar more quickly. “Muscling up” takes a toll, aka inefficient.

I like the different distinctions for WODs as you've noted in this post. Content-wise the only change I would make is the addition of some more quickness/agility drills. Perhaps as part of the warm-up?

As for class times, I think an additional noon classtime on Saturday would relieve some of the crowd at the 11 am slot. Sunday classtime sounds good too as another commenter mentioned.

Tried out high bar back squat today, and left it at 60kg.

For the mini met-con, 5:36 (or something like that). Jello legs = sexy legs, eventually.
