from Andy:
Concept2 is running a new Charity Challenge this Winter. For every 1K rowed between November 24th and December 24th, Concept2 will donate $0.02 to one of three charities (minimum of $100,000).
So if five of us row 100K that's $500 to charity. If 20 of us row 100K that's $2000. You get the idea!
Pretty cool stuff... and a good way to row off all that holiday food!
What do y'all think? Let's get it going!

Good exposure or bad exposure?

Definitely good exposure. All exposure is good but this kind when there's nothing negative being said is definitely good. Plus it's great to watch Jillian struggle so much!
NO REP!
AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!
I vote bad exposure. Big time. Prime example of what (I believe) CrossFit was never intended to be. Zero instruction or explanation even of how to do the proper movement, intelligent training, or skill. Just demo and go, then yell faster faster. They moved like crap and its no wonder. That's how people get hurt. Just so this dude can sell DVD's. I'm queasy
EVERY ONE WINS A NEW RIPPED CORE (dvd)
Agree 1000% with AW. A prime example of bad Crossfit with bad instruction.
But... I LOVED watching Jillian move like crap and get her butt kicked. Real crossfit women don't complain about weight and height. They kick ass with whatever is put in front of them.
I'm for sure coming late to this, but from where I sit in Chicagoland, that was bull-crappy. So much of what I've been seeing touring around various boxes out here feels of a kind with what was going on on that clip. Long on shouting, short on time to ascertain correct movement or scaling, almost completely absent on focused cues.
I miss one coach, one cue.
